Databases
The IAM database can be used to train and test handwritten text recognizers and to perform writer identification and verification experiments. The databases are publicly accessible and freely available for non-commercial research purposes. The following databases are available:
- IAM Handwriting Database
- The IAM Handwriting Database (IAM-DB) contains forms of handwritten English text.
- IAM Online Handwriting Database
- The IAM Online Handwriting Database (IAM-OnDB) contains forms of handwritten English text acquired on a whiteboard.
- IAM Graph Database Repository for Graph Based Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning
- The IAM Graph DB Repository contains various graph data sets covering a wide spectrum of different applications
- String Edit Distance Matrices for Various Datasets
- A number of String Edit Distance Matrices for Various Datasets computed on different datasets are available.
- IAM Online Document Database
- The IAMonDo-database consist of documents containing text and non-text content elements which are acquired with a digital pen.
- IAM Historical Document Database
- The IAM-HistDB contains handwritten historical manuscripts.
